I purchased a alligator head at the Crab Shack resturant in Tybee Island GA DNR says it is illegal what do i d?

The DNR says it needs a Tag but it did not come with one when I bought the alligator head at the Crab Shack, it looks cool on my desk DNR has nothing better to do..

   Try to return it to get your money back. If they will not take it you may have to dispose of it. If the Dept. of Natural Resources says it is illegal, they may confiscate it and you may also be fined.
