  1. You’ve come to the right person…I have been to Tybee Island so many times and my boyfriend’s brother is getting married on it.

    Dolphins Reef is relatively new. It has gorgeous views of the beach and the seafood is some of the best on the island.

    Fannies on the Beach isn’t overly fancy but its an island favorite. They offer pizza, salads, and seafood at affordable prices and the dishes are teriffic.

    The Hunter House Inn has a more elegant flair if you are looking for fancy. The specials are awesome!

    The most well-known place on the island is probably the Crab Shack. The atmosphere is wonderful…very islandy. The food is the best…and very very affordable. The staff is warm and friendly and the service is brilliant. Its def one of my top picks of the island.

  2. Excellent question to question….Been here since 91′. Best place on Tybee is MacElwee’s on Butler Ave. Best steaks and really fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Crab Shack is another excellent place, but its a really laid back place, food is honest. Dolphin Reef is expensive but fantastic view of the ocean. Hope this helps……

  3. There are no fancy places on Tybee anyway.
    The Crab Shack on Estill Hammock Rd.,
    912- 786-9857, has the best seafood buffet on the island.
    Fannie’s on the Beach is another excellent place and has entertainment.

  6. Forget fancy and just reckon THE BEST SEAFOOD EVER!!!!!!! Go the The Crab Shack. Seriously.
