Covington & Savannah Georgia vacation :)?

Leaving for vacation this Friday morning….
Was wondering if anyone could recommend some fun things to do?? Perhaps some tours, excellent food, anything fascinating and maybe different!!!
I’m really interested mostly in Savannah,GA…..as this is the first time for me..
Someone mentioned about a Ghost Tour of a Haunted House?? Anyone ever heard of this??
Well, I’d greatly appreciate any advice ..
Thanks so much……

In Savannah you should certainly go down to the Riverwalk.
I reckon there are many walking tours. A well loved one is based on the book “Midnight in the Garden of Excellent and Evil” which is based in Savannah. You can do a web search for Savannah walking tours.
“The Lady and Sons” is a very well loved Savannah restaurant. It is owned and operated by Paula Deen who is well-known from The Food Network. I’ve heard that it has become touristy, but the food is supposed to be fantastic!
Delight in your trip!
There are SO many tours to take in Savannah – history tours, ghost tours, home tours, etc. There are brochures you can pick up that will tell you about the different ones. I’ve been one one ghost three different times and I like it…but I can’t remember exactly what it’s called. I know it starts at a small gift shop on Bull Street, but that’s all I remember…sorry! Certainly take a couple of ghost tours though, they’re so much fun!
