Civil Air Patrol puts in 10,000 hours for Gulf Coast spill cleanup
Members of the Civil Air Patrol, which has its headquarters at Maxwell Air Force Base, have contributed more than 10,000 man-hours to the oil spill cleanup efforts in the Gulf of Mexico. That’s more than $179,000 worth of volunteer labor, according to CAP figures.
