What is a good beach area to visit in South Carolina/North Carolina?

My friends and I are looking to vacation in South Carolina, or North Carolina.. We’re looking for your picturesque beachfront, tall grass, sand dunes, kind of area – someplace really relaxing and gorgeous. What towns/resorts would you recommend?
We’re looking for either the first week in April, or mid-May.

  1. If you’re looking for some place to unwind try the beaches south of Charleston. The island communities are more laid back the the high profile tourist areas.

Hey, I live in North Carolina and during the summer I like going to Ocean Isle beach. It is really gorgeous. Myrtle Beach is okay but is busy. Holden Beach is very gorgeous too, so is Sunset, but I would deff. recommend Ocean Isle.

    I hope I helped(:
